It is with a heavy heart, that I have to break some difficult news to you. We must relocate the 5th and 6th grades. It was brought to our attention that the Barringer building is unsafe to house our students and staff. Cracks in the foundation are compromising the safety and security of the building. But in the midst of this storm God has already provided a way. Grace Fellowship Church on Tazewell Ave. has offered the use of their property to our school!. Praise God! Their pastor is currently working on clearing the space and getting it ready for move in day. In the meantime we will need to relocate the children Monday to the Baptist Church for classes. On Monday please drop off your children at the Barringer building to pack up personal items. We will move them with the church van to the Baptist Church, and have classes there until everything is moved and installed at our new location. Monday pick up will be at the Baptist Church. (Please are to enter using Tower Street and exit using Tower Street.). We will continue pick up and drop of at the Baptist Church for this week keeping in mind Chapel on Wednesday mornings MSUMC. I want this to be as painless as possible but I know this is not completely possible. I thank you in advance for your patience, positive attitudes and help in this process.
Prayerfully yours,
Natalie Blankenship

I just met with the Tazewell Police and we have some new instructions for afternoon pick-up. They do not want us to use Central Avenue AT ALL. Parents picking up at the Baptist Church are to enter using Tower Street and exit using Tower Street. Parents picking up at the Methodist Church are to use Pine Street ONLY. The only Street parents are allowed to stop and wait on is Pine Street. I know things are crazy right now, but we'll get it all ironed out soon! Thank you for your patience and kindness! Growing pains!
